Data is encrypted in transit. You can request that data be deleted. Seems like a fun enjoyable concept. I just can't get it to work. It rarely connects with my Xbox and when it does, it crashes shortly after. I gave it 3 stars because I do understand it is just the beta and I'm very excited to see where this goes. Also taught me that my xbox controller has bluetooth abilities, which I didn't know! Just needs some bugs ironed out.. and maybe a privacy setting or something? I noticed another xbox nearby that isn't mine and was able to look at all their games etc The new version looks fantastic a very smooth look to it, I see why people would not be happy with some of the club features being taken off but I personally don't use them so I'm fine with it. There is a problem where the app closes also for a long time remote play didn't work for me it made the app crash I did however manage to do it but when I stop remote play it leaves the app.
As it states, it's a work in progress and may not function the same for everyone. I love the play streaming feature. it only works if I'm connected to the same network my Xbox is, which it's good but still a bummer cause I'm barely home most of the time. I hope in the future I'm able to play smoothly miles away from my house, without having to carry my Xbox around all the time.
